Visit Shanghai, Changsha, and Beijing. Our program begins with a two-day stay in Shanghai. Take the Transrapid Maglev Train and visit the Jade Buddha Temple, the Yuyuan Garden, the Bund, and the Oriental Pearl Tower.  Then, we will travel to our beautiful host city of Changsha in Hunan Province.  Chinese students from Changsha University will join us to take classes taught by KSU faculty members, conduct joint research projects, visit cartoon-making studios and enjoy cultural explorations. Speak daily with Chinese students, learn about Chinese cultures, and study outsourcing in China or the role of mathematics in Chinese civilization. After eleven days, we will fly to the capital city Beijing where we will visit the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, the Tiananmen Square, and the Great Wall.
