Math 4381 - Real Analysis I
- Prerequisite: "C" or better grade in Math 2202 and Math 3260
- Credit hours: 3-0-3
- A study of functions of a single real variable and of some of the finer properties
of the real number system. Various foundational topics such as proofs, the theory of sets,
infinity, etc., will present themselves naturally as the student deepens his/her
understanding of concepts already familiar from Calculus. Among topics to be included will
be the real number system, sequences, functions, limits, continuity, derivatives, and the
Mean Value Theorem.
