If you want to become a member of the KSU student chapter, just attend one of the meetings or contact one of our officers or faculty advisors. There are no dues to be part of the local chapter, and events are generally open to all students and faculty. The MAA also offers a national membership with the option of receiving journals and other publications as well. Members of the national organization are eligible for special discounts on books the MAA publishes and are offered reduced registration fees for many conferences and other events. Membership for the MAA is good for a calendar year, but students can start their membership for the next year at the beginning of the academic year. National dues are fairly reasonable for students.
