Mathematics Education

The Mathematics Education Program at Kennesaw State University is dedicated to facilitating the development of high-quality mathematics teachers who are well-prepared in both content and pedagogy. We support the vision outlined in the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Principles and Standards for School Mathematics . Our programs balance rigorous mathematical preparation with research-based methods preparation in a field-intensive environment. The program housed in the Department of Mathematics in the College of Science and Mathematics and leads to the Bachelor of Science degree and certification to teach grades 6 - 12.

From Atlanta : Take 75 North to Chastain Road (Exit 271). Turn left on Chastain Road . Go through the light at Frey Road and turn right at the next light, which is Kennesaw State University Drive . This road will end at visitor parking. The Science building is across the street from visitor parking, and the mathematics department is on the 5 th floor of the Science Building . The office is in room 507.

From Chattanooga : Take 75 South to Chastain Road (Exit 271). Turn right on Chastain Road . Go through the light at Frey Road and turn right at the next light, which is Kennesaw State University Drive . This road will end at visitor parking. The Science building is across the street from visitor parking, and the mathematics department is on the 5 th floor of the Science Building . The office is in room 507.
